Dear Mr Sutton
Thank you for your reply of 25 November
2002 in regard to my concerns regarding China breaching the
ILO rules and
regulations.
Within your reply you state that
"it is our view that developing countries should not be denied
legitimate comparative advantage of lower labour costs but this
advantage
should not be secured by deliberately neglecting fundamental
labour
principles."
With reference to your statement above, do you consider China
to be a developing country?
