Demonstration At Wave Conference

There are angry voices blowing in the wind.

There is a vigil outside the Sheraton Hotel [Knowledge Wave Conference Centre] started at 1300 hrs Wednesday and continuing through Thursday [0730-1800 Hours] and Friday [0730-1730 Hours].

As I understand it, the purpose of the vigil is to demonstrate solidarity and persistence for a GE Free [Aotearoa] New Zealand in response to the Royal Commission's biased report.

The initiative for this demonstration of solidarity has come from GE Free Northland. However organisation and support must be self replicating and self-organised. The numbers must be seen to be believed. If you do not have the capacity to organise and support - by way of supplies and/or accommodation for those out of town - then just be there for some of the time if not all of the time.
