Waitaki First Information Fourms on Project Aqua and Hydro.

Waitaki First Information Fourms on Project Aqua and Hydro. All Welcome

Hi All - Here are the final details of the Waitaki First Forums being run
in Wgtn an Auckland. Note in particular that the Wgtn meeting is now
scheduled for 12.30pm and not 12.45.

The Forums are initiating a North Island campaign by various concerned
groups to make people aware of the issues and implications with Project
Aqua and the issues and implications in general with continuing unabated
down the hydro road for all NZers. All the speakers are excellent and
there will be time for discussion.

Also on the 2 March, Waitaha are to do their own separate deputation
to Parliament in the afternoon regarding their feelings for the Waitaki
River in the form of song, dance and legend. There will also be a 10
minute public performance by the Seddon Statue of Parliament at 11.30am.

Very grateful if you could forward this to any persons who may be
interested in Wgtn or Auck.

Kind regards, Dugald MacTavish
For Waitaki First Inc. Committee
