Register Your Land GE-Free
by
Alan Marston
Using bureacracy against itself is a most effective mechanism
preventing a country from becoming catatonic, and it is exactly
this thought that made me register my, admittedly pretty small
block of carbon-sinking native forest near Puhoi, as GE-Free
land.
I
highly recommend you too go to www.gefreeregister.co.nz and register
your land, if you own it. The bureaucrats have promulgated that
GE Free land entitles itself to a buffer zone around it which
could be up to 8 km, within which GE affected crops and animals
can't be grown (assuming they ever get into the field, which
is highly unlikely). If enough land is registered, the buffer
zones will overlap and by default, NZ would be GE FreeNZ.
Don't
wait, register...
