Nuclear Danger Hasn't Gone Away


HELEN CALDICOTT, LEADING NUCLEAR DISARMAMENT ACTIVIST IN CONVERSATION WITH

Dr. Helen Caldicott has devoted the last three decades to an international
campaign to educate the public about the medical hazards of the nuclear
age. She has received many prizes for her work, including nineteen honorary
degrees, and was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. An Australian
national, she has lived in the United States, and currently divides her
time between both countries

Helen Caldicott's new book New Nuclear Danger- George W. Bush's
military-industrial complex exposes the indebtedness of the Bush
administration to the arms industry, and warns of the incredible dangers
inherent in allowing weapons manufacturers to dictate foreign policy.
