                  Centre Needs Support

 The Jam Tse Dhargyey
Ling Trust regrets to inform you that it urgently needs financial
                  support
to sustain the services it provides.

Tse Dhargyey Ling Trust is a Tibetan Buddhist Centre based in
                  Whangarei.
We are unable to sustain the weekly financial shortfall.

From time to time people give
donations when they visit, or sponsor specific projects, but
                  it is the
regular income that is needed to cover the regular outgoings
                  required to
 run and sustain the Centre.

In the 5 years since it's
registration, through the guidance of Thupten Rinpoche and Lhagon
Rinpoche, Jam Tse Dhargyey Ling has purchased and improved a
house/building on 7 hectares of a bush-clad hilltop, to accommodate
resident Spiritual Teacher Ven. Geshe Sangey Thinley; Translator
                  Tsering
Samdup; House Manager Judy Clark; and the steady stream of visitors
                  and
 activities.

 It has a small Gompa
(Meditation room), office, ablution wing, accommodation, incredible
                  views
and gardens. A house, 'No.2' has been added to the grounds for
                  extra
accommodation and a Stupa (peace monument) is in the early stages
                  of
 construction.

 The Trust has been involved
in the local and national community extensively since "Geshe-la"
                  came to
New Zealand three years ago, offering service to and providing
                  for the
needs of many people. (Internationally through the Dharma News
                  email
 newsletter.)

 Last year, the Trust
organised the New Zealand Sand Mandala Tour to fifteen locations
encouraging the fostering of love and compassion as invoked
                  by Chenrezig.
Senior student monks of Geshe-la: Jamyang Sherab and Sonam Norbu,
                  met
close to half a million New Zealanders who came to participate
                  in the
Mandala. All the funds raised through the mandala tour, and
                  merchandise
sales etc, went directly into the vast costs of hosting such
                  a tour, and
has managed to sustain the centre to some extent up until now.

 Ven. Geshe Sangyey Thinley
works continuously with his students and teaching programme
                  in Whangarei
and the many visitors he receives, as well as the increasing
                  requests for
him to travel and teach throughout New Zealand.

The Centre is in need of
everyone’s support and assistance. Please help if you can.
 How To Help:
 1.Regular
automatic paymentshelps us with budgeting, (even $2 helps
cover the cups of tea for visitors). However any financial assistance,
even for a short time, is gratefully accepted.
Sustainable amounts shared by many is the ideal!

 Please find attached a form
on how to do this. Once completed, this needs to be mailed to
                  JTDL Trust,
 P.O. Box 4366, Kamo.

 2. Become a
 Friend, orMember of the centreby
completing the application form, and sending it to us. This
                  will assist
in sustaining the Trusts valuable work. Also, a greater membership
                  base
provides leverage in negotiating grants and applications.
  3. If you have contacts -
please forward this information on to any person, group or corporation
 who fund worthwhile charitable causes…
 4. For those who don’t have
money to offer, but would be happy to offer their time, and
                  resources to
assist, or might like to form a fund raising committee or to
                  become more
actively involved in the day to day running of the centre
(gardens/maintenance for instance), we’re open to all.
If you would like to talk to
us about the centre, please feel free to call Paul on 027 400
                  842, or in
 the evenings on 09 435 4113, or Harald on Auckland 09 810 9328.

 Thank you.

 Sincerely yours,

 Paul
