Keep NZ Clean!

Below are opportunities to give voice to opposition to the "proceed with caution" recommendations of the Royal Commission Report into Genetic Modification. We must all, individually, let the Cabinet Ministers know that GE is not acceptable and we wish New Zealand to stay free of field trials and other GE contamination.

In Auckland on the 1st September there is a GE Free Rally starting at noon in QEII Square, in Akld city. This is a big action and thousands of people will be there to show their support for a GE Free New Zealand. Make sure you make your support visible.

Please help keep New Zealand GE Free. On the 22nd August 2001, there will be the "Jam the Phone lines" action in response to the Royal Commission's report on GE. To influence the Government's response to the Royal Commission's Report, the following are key people in Parliament to email and fax on the 22nd August, Rt Hon Helen Clark Prime Minister Email= pm@ministers.govt.nz, Fax: (04) 473-3579
