At Crossroads
Take a Stand for community, for pensioner housing, for public
transport,
for water as a human right, for community services. Rally Thursday
13
December Aotea Square 5-30 - 6-30 pm, near the Council Chambers.
Auckland City Council meets on December 13 and the next day
Bill Birch will
report back to John Banks and Auckland City Council on a review
that aims
at boosting the well-off at the expense of every one else:
User charges, sale of assets, cut-backs in community grants,
motorways
before the environment, putting business demands ahead of the
needs of
citizens and workers, lay off of experienced council staff.
Have you been
consulted?
Join to take a stand for our community, for democracy and for
human rights
for all. Council's 'core business' is democracy!
