Price of Petrol

This is the first of what will hopefully be many boycotts as a very
powerful and peaceful way of hurting exactly those whose greed drives war
and super-exploitation.

Philip Hollsworth, offered this idea. Now that the oil companies and the
OPEC nations have conditioned us to think that the cost of a litre is cheap
at .89 / .95 cents, we need to point out that buyers control the
marketplace not sellers, if they choose to. With the price of petrol going
up more each day, we consumers need to take action. The only way we are
going to see the price of petrol come down is if we hit someone in the
pocket by not purchasing their Petrol.

Here's the idea. For the rest of this year don't purchase petrol from BP
and Mobil. If they are not selling any petrol, they will be inclined to
reduce their prices. That will put pressure on the companies from all
directions, they're reaction will affect the whole global concept they
operate out of, the concept that they are omnipotent and above public opinion.
