                  Motorway Plan Not Right

In the Hawke's Bay city of Napier, citizens are concerned about
                  the loss of
one of their most precious possessions, Pandora Pond, to development. Pandora
Pond is a popular place for people from the city who want to
                  get
away from it all and relax by walking and enjoying nature. It
                  is located
close to Napier and the airport and a motorway is going right
                  through it.
What also angers residents is the incessant push to have development
completed before the present consent time expires. Approval
                  would then need
to be sought all over again and with the public concern you
                  have to ask,
                  "would it be granted?"
As the pictures show, what was, will no longer be, the peace
                  and
tranquility will be lost and another example of the environment
                  succumbing
                  to `progress' will be complete.
Pictures show what was and still could be and what the area
                  is becoming.
