The trouble with free markets is the commercial juggernaught that is
monopolisation unfrees markets. I don't feel any need to prove this, life
has proved it.
The trouble with democracy is the political juggernaught that is two-party
politicisation undemocratises politics and I don't feel any need to prove
this either, life has proved it.
In this time of capital-finance-commerce collapse people give up on the
old game and start looking for the new, which means to me monopoly control
of unfree markets and the evil of two lesser parties control of politics
are on the way out. People will vote first with their dollar in the shop
and tick-sheets in the ballot box and when that doesn't work quick enough,
with their feet on the streets.
Tomorrow I recommend joining the future by party-voting for any party
except National/ACT or Labour. The two-party undemocracy has to go, will
go and with a bit of luck without violence.
