A Dream Is Over
By Alan Marston, 15 April 2008

If reality is a dream, the philosophical position of all gurus, shamans,
mystics and romantics of any age and any religion – a belief that is
impossible to prove wrong by the way given that reality for humans is
thinking which is consciousness and dreaming is consciousness therefore
dreaming is reality – then reality is a waking up from one dream while
commencing another.

The trouble is, though some dreams are comforting romances others are
frightening nightmares and most people are very open to purchase of and
belief in romance as purveyed by 99.9% of salesman since the beginning of
`trade' but they pin a suppression order to a nightmare described by
shamans, mystics and other philosophers. Nature of course is quite
indifferent to human comfort and rudely awakes romantics to a nightmare at
regular intervals.

Awake yee romantics the nightmare of money's fall is upon us.

Be re-assured though, as Einstein said, all is relative. In the context of
the reality dream relative means romance is part nightmare and nightmare
is part romance. It's up to the individual to describe which part is which
and which part is ascendant.

Reality, comforting or discomforting … it's your dream.
